VR Automotive Repair (programs are offered at NO COST to clients) NEW!
In an immersive, digital learning environment, using virtual reality headsets, students will develop the skills required to obtain two highly regarded industry certifications and begin a rewarding career in automotive repair. This course covers:
- Automobile repair safety considerations
- How to perform an oil change
- Maintenance & light repair techniques
- Common brakes issues and how to fix them
- Components of an automobile’s steering and suspension systems
Eligibility Requirements:
- Comfortability with technology, especially virtual reality
- Comfortability with an automotive repair working environment
- Must be a resident of Santa Clara County, San Benito County, or Santa Cruz County
- Must be 18 years of age or older and interested in securing meaningful employment in automotive repair with opportunities for economic growth
- Must have a valid authorization to work in the United States, such as U.S. citizenship, permanent residency, or an employment authorization card
- Must be available to attend all sessions of the program

Certifications Available:
- ASE entry-level maintenance and light repair
- ASE entry-level brakes
